TERMS & CONDITIONS - MADE TO ORDER
The following terms and conditions apply to made to order purchases of products from BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO. These terms are important, so please read them carefully.

BACKGROUND
These terms and conditions apply to purchases of made-to-order products. "Made to order" means that the product is produced after the purchase is completed to ensure no overproduction. Therefore, the product is also made specifically for the individual customer and is, in principle, non-returnable.
All styles are handmade in Aarhus.
Production time may vary – normally 4-6 weeks should be expected. If you wish to receive your item within a specific timeframe, please inform us, and we’ll see if it’s possible to accommodate.
PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS
BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO accepts payment via online checkout at the website - apple pay or VISA/Mastercard. All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT and other fees. As mentioned above, production begins only after payment has been completed.
DESIGN RESERVATIONS
We reserve the right to make changes to fabrics/yarn and other materials (including beads, trims, etc.), as materials are chosen based on various sustainable principles (such as deadstock, leftovers, second-hand, etc.) and may not always be restocked. By purchasing, the customer accepts that there may be slight variations (though no radical changes) between the final product and the original design. This can also include minor color differences. As a general rule, the customer will always be informed unless the difference is considered so minor that it does not affect the overall design or functionality.
ORDERING AND CONFIRMATION
By completing your order with a payment, you accept BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO’s terms and conditions. Once we receive your payment, a receipt will be sent by email.
DELIVERY
Shipping is 45 DKK via DAO. If the item weighs over 1kg, a different rate applies. This will be communicated before payment.
Shipping is currently only available within Denmark.
By arrangement, items can be picked up in Aarhus free of charge.
RETURNS
As mentioned, made to order items are custom-made and generally not returnable. If you wish to return an item, please contact us at brudesignstudio@hotmail.com or on Instagram, and we’ll find a solution.
Items must not be used but may be tried on. You are responsible for any damage caused during try-on, if handled beyond what is necessary to determine the item’s nature, features, and functionality.
If the item is used beyond what is described above, we consider it used, which may result in partial or no refund, depending on the item’s resale value.
To receive a full refund, you must handle the item as you would in a physical store: try it on, but not use it.

If a refund is agreed upon, please send your bank details and/or MobilePay number so we can transfer the agreed amount. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
If you regret your purchase, you may cancel your order within 24 hours after payment is completed. After 24 hours, or once production has started, cancellation is no longer possible. However, you’re always welcome to contact us on brudesignstudio@hotmail.com or on Instagram, and we’ll try to find a solution.
WARRANTY
There is a 2-year warranty under Danish law. The warranty covers material and/or manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage caused by improper use of the product.
BRÚ’s items are handmade pieces involving many hours of work. Therefore, we kindly ask you to treat the items neatly, as a piece of art.
If the item does not meet the described standard, or has visible faults or defects, please contact brudesignstudio@hotmail.com and we’ll find a solution.
Customers (or others) must not attempt to fix such issues without prior agreement from BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO, if the repair is expected to be done by BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Many of our items are dry clean only and must not be machine washed. If you're unsure, please contact us at brudesignstudio@hotmail.com. If this is not followed, the right to complain will be voided.
PERSONAL DATA
When purchasing from BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO, we collect personal information for shipping purposes. By accepting these terms, you consent to us storing your contact details such as name, email, address, and any payment information.
This data is only used for order processing and delivery, as well as to enforce these terms. You may at any time request access to the information BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO has stored about you.
FORCE MAJEURE
BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO is not liable for failure to fulfill these terms due to events outside our control, such as war, blockades, fire, environmental disasters, serious illness, or other major circumstances. You will be notified immediately in such a case.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, designs, trademarks, and know-how, belong to BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO unless otherwise stated in these terms.
This includes the overall visual design, such as lines, contours, colors, shape, structure, specific techniques, and recognizable details developed by BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO.

If you have a complaint, we hope you'll reach out to us first so we can resolve the issue quickly and directly. We’re always happy to help.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time.
MISCELLANEOUS
If any clause in these terms is considered illegal or invalid, it will be regarded as removed. In that case, the remaining clauses will not be affected.
We reserve the right for typos, price changes, tax and currency changes.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - RENTAL
The following terms and conditions apply to the rental of clothing from BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO. These terms are important, so please read them carefully.

BACKGROUND
These terms apply to clothing rentals. By accepting these terms, the renting party acknowledges that the ownership of the products remains with BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO.
RENTAL PERIOD
An agreement is made regarding the rental period and any specific dates for delivery and return. These must be respected by both parties.
DELIVERY AND RECEIPT
The rented clothing can be picked up from BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO at Graven 21, 1. floor, 8000 Aarhus C at an agreed time. Alternatively, the clothing can be shipped via DAO. Shipping costs are covered by the customer. Upon receipt, the renting party should check the clothing for any faults or defects. If anything is found, BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO must be contacted as soon as possible. The renting party (or others) may not attempt to repair any issues without BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO’s consent.
RETURN
The rented clothing can be returned to the same address mentioned above. If the clothing was shipped, you will receive it in a bag containing a return label (DAO) to be used once the rental period ends. Simply place the clothing back in the bag and flip the label in the plastic sleeve on the side of the bag to return it. Keep the shipping receipt. It is important that the clothing is returned on or before the agreed date, as it may be needed immediately for other renters.
DAMAGED OR LOST CLOTHING
BRÚ’s rental clothing consists of handmade pieces involving many hours of work. Therefore, we kindly ask you to treat it as if it were your own. If any damage occurs or stains appear, do not attempt to remove them without BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO’s consent. If additional cleaning is required beyond standard, the renting party will cover the cost. In cases of more serious damage, the renting party must also cover reasonable repair costs.
If the garment is lost or returned in an irreparable state, the renting party is responsible for reimbursing BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO for its value. The original price of the item is listed on the website – ask if in doubt. In such cases, an invoice will be sent to the customer. If the invoice is not paid, we may choose to refer the matter to a debt collection agency. Any associated costs must be covered by the customer, as agreed by accepting these terms.
Our garments are generally dry clean only and must not be washed during the rental period. If this is not respected, the customer is liable for compensation.
The same applies to ironing. Please contact BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO if you wish to iron the garment.
PERSONAL DATA
In connection with clothing rentals from BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO, we store shipping-related information provided by you. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that we store contact information such as name, email, address, and phone number.
This data is stored solely for the purpose of managing and delivering the clothing, as well as enforcing the terms of this agreement. You may at any time request access to the personal data BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO has used.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and know-how, are owned by BRÚ DESIGNSTUDIO unless otherwise stated in these terms.
MISCELLANEOUS
If any provision in these terms is deemed illegal or otherwise invalid, it shall be considered excluded. In that case, such a provision will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions in the terms.
